How to read your Type and Chassis numbers
Between the hinges for your right front door you'll find some numbers.
1969-1974 it could be something like:
* 1644541A132266 *
and 1975 it could be:
* VC16435B0142817 *
You can see what the numbers mean by reading them in the following way:
1969 - 1974, * 1644541A132266 *
164 - just means 164 (instead of, for example, an 144)
4541A is the type number
